Single Cup Recycling Program
A&B Vending Refreshment Services is involved in a region wide Recycling Initiative. Our Teams objective is to raise awareness of the importance of recycling in our everyday lives. Recycling is a common denominator among all of us; we all generate trash!
How we discard it is the issue!
What is Waste-to-Energy?
Waste-to-energy is a process that converts trash into clean energy to heat, cool, and light our homes and power industry. Nationwide, waste-to-energy facilities process nearly 29 million tons of trash each year and generate enough power to meet the needs of 3 million homes. More than 36 million people in 27 states rely on waste-to-energy plants.
How it all Works: Modern waste-to-energy facilities differ significantly from old-fashioned municipal incinerators. Incinerators inefficiently burned trash, didn't recover any of the energy released during the combustion process, and had minimal air pollution control. The waste-to-energy process, on the other hand, recovers the heat value of combusted trash to generate steam and electricity to power homes and industry. Highly efficient combustion reduces the volume of trash by about 90 percent, and advanced pollution control systems ensure a cleaner-burning power plant.
Re:newal
Re:newal has created the most distinctive bottled water today by taking the most innovative, plant-based bottle technology available today and filling it with refreshingly pure spring water. It's spring water from the Earth – just as clean and pure as nature intended. We own our spring, and we protect it by keeping the 62 acres on which it flows in its natural state. The bottle is all-natural, and can be recycled, composted or even incinerated. Our bottles and labels are made from a plant-based resin, making these options possible. Just as easily as these bottles are produced from our soil, they can be returned to it or recycled into a new bottle – a true cradle-to-cradle solution. The water and the bottle are made in America – not transported from other countries. They're also made from plants – no use of foreign or domestic oil. We're actively developing new products under the re:newal brand and are seeking like-minded companies to join our cause.
